Guidance and Counseling

The Copper Canyon High School Guidance and Counseling Department delivers a comprehensive school counseling program that supports the academic, career, and social-emotional development of all students. Our counselors work collaboratively with students, families, staff, and community partners to create a supportive environment where every student can thrive. Through academic planning and future readiness support, counselors help students set goals, build essential skills, overcome challenges, and prepare for success in postsecondary education, careers, and life. We advocate for equitable access to opportunities and are dedicated to promoting student achievement, well-being, and lifelong success.

Students are introduced to their counselors during 8th-grade pre-registration and continue working with them throughout high school as they plan for graduation and future goals. Students who would like to meet with their counselor can request a pass in the Guidance Office during lunch, before school, or after school.
