Statement Regarding the Arizona Healthy Schools Act
Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, schools that are participating in the National School Lunch program will implement the requirements of the Arizona Healthy Schools Act (HB2164). As required by state law, certain foods and beverages containing specific additives and artificial colorings may no longer be sold, served, or provided on campus during the regular school day.
